Centennial Olympic Stadium
Centennial Olympic Stadium was the 85,000-seat main stadium of the 1996 Summer Olympics and 1996 Summer Paralympics, Paralympics in Atlanta, Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia, United States. Construction of the stadium began in 1993, and it was complete and ready for the 1996 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, opening ceremony in July 1996, where it hosted Athletics at the 1996 Summer Olympics, track and field events and the 1996 Summer Olympics closing ceremony, closing ceremony. Vita Pavlysh
Viktoriya Anatoliïvna Pavlysh (; born 15 January 1969 in Kharkov, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union) is a former Ukrainian track and field athlete who specialized in the shot put. Pavlysh was stripped of her 1999 IAAF World Indoor Championships gold medal after she had tested positive for anabolic steroid stanozolol at the event in Maebashi, Japan. She claimed that she may have taken the drug to aid her recovery from injury. For this offence she received a two-year ban. Five years later at the 2004 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Budapest, Hungary she won the title again only to fail the drug test for the same reason. She was again stripped of her title and banned from athletics for life. Whether because of her drug-use or not, Pavlysh was famed for her very muscular lower body. Valentina Fedjuschina (born 10 February 1965 in Moscow) is a retired Austrian shot putter. She originally competed for Soviet Union and Ukraine, but became an Austrian citizen in 1999 to compete in the Sydney Olympic games for this country. She is married to discus thrower Volodymyr Zinchenko. Her personal best put is 21.08 metres, achieved in May 1988 in Leselidze. Stephanie Storp
Stephanie Storp (born 28 November 1968 in Braunschweig, Lower Saxony) is a retired female shot putter from Germany. Her best performance was winning the bronze medal at the 1997 World Championships, with a throw of 19.22 metres. She also won the silver medal at the 1993 World Indoor Championships, and represented her country in the Summer Olympics of 1992 and 1996. She ended her athletics career in 1998, having taken up basketball as a new sport. Athletics career As a teenager she won the bronze medal at the 1985 European Junior Championships. Storp represented West Germany, and finished behind two East Germans Bettina Libera and Ilke Wyludda. Sui Xinmei (隋新梅, born January 29, 1965) is a Chinese shot putter who won the silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Satu Karoliina Lundahl, née Leppäluoto (born 30 June 1968 in Helsinki) is a retired female weightlifter from Finland, who was nicknamed "Kartsi" during her career. Svetlana Vladimirovna Krivelyova (; born 13 June 1969) is a former Russian track and field athlete who specialised in the shot put. Krivelyova was born in Bryansk, Russia. Her career highlights were the Summer Olympics gold medal in 1992 whilst representing the Unified Team, where she beat the reigning world champion Huang Zhihong of China, and her World Championship victory in 2003. Her most unlikely victory came at the 2004 World Indoor Championships. She was awarded the gold medal after Ukraine's Vita Pavlysh (Krivelyova's former Unified Team teammate) was stripped of her title for failing a drug test.
