Association Of Saskatchewan Realtors
The Saskatchewan REALTORS® Association (SRA) is the processional association that represents over 1,500 real estate brokers and salespeople in Saskatchewan. While the SRA officially came into existence in 2020, the story began long before then. Organized real estate has been around for over a century in Saskatchewan. REALTORS® came together to establish a cohesive voice in real estate and enhance professionalism within the industry. Together, real estate professionals could establish boards and become better equipped to make recommendations to governing agencies. At its height, Saskatchewan had twelve REALTOR® associations throughout the province: Estevan, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Yorkton, Weyburn, Lloydminster, Prince Albert, Melfort, Saskatoon, Regina, Battlefords and Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan ( ; ) is a province in western Canada, bordered on the west by Alberta, on the north by the Northwest Territories, on the east by Manitoba, to the northeast by Nunavut, and on the south by the U.S. states of Montana and North Dakota. The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA; , ACI) is a trade association that represents real estate brokers, agents, and salespeople in Canada. CREA's membership includes over 130,000 individuals, working through 90 real estate boards and associations across Canada. CREA is governed by an elected board of directors, which has representation from each region of Canada and features director-at-large positions. Currently, there are 16 seats on the board.
