''Fathom'' is a comic book created by Michael Turner and originally published by Top Cow Productions. It debuted in 1998 and was Michael Turner's first creator-owned comic book series. ''Fathom'' is currently published by Turner's own company, Aspen MLT. Publication history ''Fathom'' was created by Michael Turner, who said that he found the inspiration from an issue of '' National Geographic''. The first series began in 1998 and was abruptly halted in 2002 when it was discovered that Turner had been diagnosed with cancer. Aspen is a lake in Botkyrka Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. Aspen Lake
Aspen Lake is a swampy lake in the Southern Cascade Range, just west of Klamath Falls, Oregon, United States. It is about () in area and located at in altitude off Aspen Rd, from the junction of Oregon Route 140 with Oregon Route 62 at White City, Oregon. Trout is the primary species for fishing in Aspen Lake. According to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife it also offers fishing for brown bullhead. Aspen Lake is also a good spot for bird-watching, reportedly one of the areas where the rare yellow rail has nested. Aspen Mountain (Wyoming)
Aspen Mountain is a long mountain located approximately south of Rock Springs, Wyoming and south of Arrowhead Springs, in Sweetwater County. The mountain gets its name from patches of Quaking Aspen trees located on the north and southern faces of the mountain. Various older topographical maps name the mountain "Quaking Aspen Mountain". Its primary use is for radio communications and it houses towers for various local and state companies. Other uses Aspen Mountain also houses repeaters used by local highway patrol and local police and fire services for Sweetwater County, which are also present on nearby Wilkins Peak. If the local emergency repeaters on Aspen Mountain fail, they are automatically switched to the Wilkins Peak repeaters, and vice versa. The mountain also houses amateur radio repeaters, and a long range radar station (operated by the FAA) is the mountain's most visible feature. Aspen anomaly is a geological structure in Colorado, United States. It consists of a low- seismic velocity anomaly in the mantle which underpins the highest sector of the Rocky Mountains. Characteristics The Aspen anomaly is a seismic velocity anomaly in the mantle beneath central Colorado (in the region of Aspen, Colorado), which appears to reach down into the upper mantle. Helium with isotope ratios indicative of mantle origin emanates from the terrain above the anomaly. The Aspen anomaly coincides with the highest region of the Rocky Mountains (such as the San Juan Mountains and the Sawatch Range) and divergent drainages ( Arkansas River, Colorado River and Gunnison River) which have cut deep gorges. Aspen Mountain is a mountain summit in the Elk Mountains range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. The peak is located in White River National Forest, south-southeast ( bearing 162°) of downtown Aspen in Pitkin County, Colorado, United States.
