The annual Asian Academy Creative Awards are presented every December as part of the Singapore Media Festival. They recognise excellence in the film and television industry across 16 nations in the Asia-Pacific region. History The inaugural awards were held in December 2018, at the Capitol Theatre, Singapore. The 2019 awards were held in the Victoria Theatre, Singapore. Due to the global covid-19 outbreak, the 2020 awards were held over two nights in a 'virtual theatre,' where each nation represented held their own ceremony in conjunction with the main event in Singapore. 2021 awards were held in Singapore from December 2 and 3, for nominations announced on October 4, 2021. 38 awards were given to winners of Asian-made TV and streaming content in various categories. ''Gogglebox Australia'' is an Australian reality television program which airs on Network 10. It is an adaptation of the British series of the same name. The series, which is produced by Shine Australia, was originally a co-production between subscription television (STV) channel Lifestyle (owned by Foxtel) and free-to-air (FTA) network Network 10. It aired on Lifestyle first, and then aired on Network 10 a day later. Production The concept of ''Gogglebox Australia'' is based on the 2013 British reality show '' Gogglebox'', in which people watch and comment on the week's popular television shows and films in their own homes. HBO Asia is the Asian division of HBO, headquartered in Singapore. Originally launched on 1 May 1992 as MovieVision, it was rebranded on 1 June 1995 to its current name upon Home Box Office, Inc. purchase. The Singapore-based broadcast network offers advertisement-free channels and services– including HBO, HBO Signature, HBO Family, HBO Hits and Cinemax – as well as HBO Go and HBO on Demand.
