Asia Pacific Screen Awards
The Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) is an international cultural initiative overseen by the Asia Pacific Screen Academy and headquartered in Australia. In order to realise UNESCO's goals of promoting and preserving the different cultures through the influential medium of cinema, it honours and promotes the movies, actors, directors, and cultures of the Asia Pacific area to a worldwide audience. Event history APSA was established in 2007 and works with FIAPF, the International Federation of Film Producers Associations. An international jury selects the winners, and films are evaluated based on their cinematic quality and how well they reflect their cultural backgrounds. More than 70 nations and regions in the Asia Pacific region are represented by APSA, which introduces their films to new international audiences. Karoline Leth
Karoline Leth (born May 12, 1964) is a Danish film and TV series producer. She is the mother of Emma Leth and Aksel Leth, sister of Kristian Leth and daughter of Jørgen Leth. Career Karoline Leth served as a teacher and coordinator in the documentary program at the National Film School of Denmark from 1999 to 2004. Subsequently, she assumed the roles of CEO and producer at Zentropa Real, Zentropa's documentary division. Later, she took on the position of director and producer at SF Studios from 2006 to 2013. Between 2013 and 2018, Leth worked as a producer at DR Drama. Following a brief stint at Apple Tree Productions, she returned to Zentropa in 2019 as the Head of Drama Series. The Mahdi ( ar, ٱلْمَهْدِيّ, al-Mahdī, lit=the Guided) is a messianic figure in Islamic eschatology who is believed to appear at the end of times to rid the world of evil and injustice. Vincent Ward (born 16 February 1956) is a New Zealand film director, screenwriter and artist. His films have received international recognition at both the Academy Awards and the Cannes Film Festival. Life and career Vincent Ward was born on 16 February 1956 near Greytown, New Zealand. He attended Ilam School of Fine Arts at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand where he received a Diploma in Fine Arts (with Honours) in 1981. In 2014 the University of Canterbury awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts and an adjunct professorship. In 1978, at the age of 21, he shot ''A State of Siege'', his debut short-feature film, which adapted a novel by Janet Frame.
