Arto Tunçboyacıyan
Arto Sedraki Tunchboyachyan (; ; born August 4, 1957) is an Armenian American avant-garde folk and jazz multi-instrumentalist and singer of Armenian descent. He fronts his Armenian Navy Band group and is also a member of the instrumental quartet Night Ark. Tunchboyachyan had appeared on more than 200 records in Europe before arriving in the United States, where he went on to work with numerous jazz musicians, including Chet Baker, Marc Johnson, Al Di Meola, and Joe Zawinul, as well as performing semi-regularly with Paul Winter and the Earth Band. He has worked with Turkish singer Sezen Aksu and the Greek singer Eleftheria Arvanitaki. Marc Johnson (musician)
Marc Alan Johnson (born October 21, 1953, in Omaha, Nebraska) is an American jazz bass player, composer and band leader. Johnson was born in Nebraska and grew up in Texas. He is married to the Brazilian jazz pianist and singer Eliane Elias. Career At the age of 19, Johnson was working professionally with the Fort Worth Symphony, and while at the University of North Texas, he played in the One O'Clock Lab Band and was also the principal bassist in the NTSU Symphony. In 1978, Johnson joined pianist Bill Evans in what would be Evans's last trio. Johnson toured and recorded with Evans until the death of the pianist in 1980. In 2007 he released the tribute album ''Something For You''—a tribute to Evans—together with his wife, pianist Eliane Elias. Vahagn Hayrapetyan () (born August 30 1968) is a jazz pianist, singer and composer. Biography Vahagn Hayrapetyan was born in Yerevan in the family of fiddler Karapet Hayrapetyan and Alice Adamyan. He graduated from the Tchaikovsky Music School and Yerevan State Conservatory as pianist and composer. Vahagn learned from Barry Harris and Frank Hewitt in New York City and worked and performed with many prominent jazz musicians such as Elvin Jones, Jimmie Lovelace, Leroy Williams, Ari Roland, Zaid Nasser, Chris Byears, Yaala Baalin, Keith Baala, Jason and Delfeo Marsalis and many more. Ara Dinkjian
Ara Dinkjian (; born June 18, 1958) is an Armenian-American musician. He is the founder of the band Night Ark. Dinkjian is an oud player. His compositions, which have been recorded in thirteen different languages, include the multi-platinum hit Dinata which was performed in the closing ceremonies of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Onno Tunç
Ohannes Tunçboyacıyan, better known as Onno Tunç (20 December 1948 – 14 January 1996), was a leading Turkish musician of Armenian descent, working mainly as a composer, arranger and a music producer. Tunç also played bass guitar and occasionally double bass, contributing to the albums of several musicians. He was one of the prominent names of Turkish pop music in the 1980s and 1990s with his arrangements. He was the elder brother of musician Arto Tunçboyacıyan.
