Arthur Cole-Hamilton
Hon. Arthur Cole-Hamilton (born Cole; 8 August 1750 – 1810) was an Anglo-Irish politician who sat in the Irish House of Commons for County Fermanagh and Enniskillen. After the Acts of Union 1800, he sat in British House of Commons for Enniskillen. Cole-Hamilton was the second son of John Cole, 1st Baron Mountflorence (1709–1767) of Florencecourt, County Fermanagh, and his wife, Elizabeth Montgomery. His elder brother was William Cole, 1st Earl of Enniskillen. In 1780, he married Letitia Hamilton, daughter and heiress of Claud Hamilton, MP in the Irish Parliament, and appended her surname. Arthur Francis Hamilton
Arthur Francis Hamilton (13 May 1880 – 10 May 1965) CIE, MC, FRCS, FRCOG was a British doctor who was an officer of the Indian Medical Service (IMS). He won the Military Cross during the First World War, and was later professor of obstetrics and gynaecology at the Grant Medical College, India. Early life Hamilton was born in India on 13 May 1880, the son of Thomas Sharp Hamilton who was an officer in the Indian Civil Service. Retirement He retired from the IMS in either 1934 or 1935, following which he moved to Kingston upon Thames, near London, England, where he was chairman of the Kingston Medical Board from 1940. He enjoyed music, bridge, and the Bombay Turf Club. Lord Arthur Hamilton
Captain Lord Arthur John Hamilton (20 August 1883 – 6 November 1914) was a British Army officer and courtier, who briefly served as Deputy Master of the Household. Hamilton was the son of James Hamilton, 2nd Duke of Abercorn and Lady Mary Anna Curzon. He commissioned into the Royal Scots on 20 April 1901. He later transferred to the Irish Guards joining the 1st Battalion of the regiment. On 3 March 1913 he was promoted to captain, and two days later he was appointed Deputy Master of the Household in the household of George V. He was deployed to France with his battalion, part of the British Expeditionary Force, in August 1914. Hamilton was killed on 6 November 1914 during the First Battle of Ypres. Arthur Campbell Hamilton, Lord Hamilton, (born Glasgow, 10 June 1942), is a Scottish judge and served as Lord Justice General and Lord President of the Court of Session from November 2005 until 8 June 2012, succeeding Lord Cullen. Early life Arthur Campbell Hamilton was born in Glasgow and attended Glasgow High School, which was then a state grammar school. He studied at the University of Glasgow, Worcester College, Oxford and Edinburgh University, where he gained an LLB in 1967.
