"Arm's Length" is a song by English singer-songwriter Sam Fender. It was released on 24 January 2025 as the third single from his third studio album ''People Watching'', and was written by Fender and produced by him alongside Adam Granduciel, Markus Dravs Markus Dravs is a British music producer, songwriter, programmer, engineer and mixer. His credits include Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Wolf Alice, Björk, Brian Eno, Sheep on Drugs, Merz, Mumford & Sons, Hozier, Florence + the Machine, The Maccabe ..., Joe Atkinson, and Dean Thompson. Background According to Fender, the song “originally came from one of those magic moments where you’re just messing around, and a song literally falls out of the sky. It’s about being avoidant and flighty. But also, just a simple pop song, which I love”. Samuel Thomas Fender (born 25 April 1994) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. Born and raised in North Shields (near Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle), Fender discovered his passion for music during his teenage years and released several singles independently beginning in 2017. His sound relies primarily on his Americana (music), traditional American musical upbringing combined with a British rock sensibility. He is known for his high tenor voice and Geordie accent.
