Arkady Baghdasaryan (Arko) ( , 25 August 1945 - 2022), artist. Honored artist of Armenia, People's Artist of Armenia. One of Armenia’s first abstractionists. Biography Born on 25 August 1945 in Baku. In 1971 Arko Baghdasaryan graduated from Yerevan Theatre – Art Institute, the Department of Painting. Since 1968 Baghdasaryan participated in the Republican and International Exhibitions in Armenia, Russia, United States, Germany, France, Sweden, Italy, Belgium, Japan, Luxembourg, etc. Since 1990 he has been exhibiting his work in solo and group exhibitions throughout Germany. In 2009 Arko participated in group exhibition entitled "Yerevan, my love" in HayArt centerof Yerevan. Arko Datta
Arko Datta (born 4 February 1969) is an Indian photojournalist. He won the 2005 World Press Photo of the Year. Life and work Datta started his career with ''Indian Express'' in 1991, later working for '' The Telegraph,'' AFP and Reuters. He covered wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and other international events. His photograph of tsunami victims at Cuddalore, India drew responses from NGOs and charitable organisations worldwide. He photographed the plight of victims of the 2002 Gujarat violence. One of his photos was seen as "the defining image of Gujarat carnage". The person captured in the picture, with folded hands begging for mercy, was forced to migrate first to Malegaon and then to Kolkata to avoid the press and sarcastic comments by society. Ernest Papa Arko (born 12 May 1984) is a Ghanaian football striker who currently plays for the Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals. Swinthin Maxwell Arko
Swithin Maxwell Arko (1920-2006) was a Ghanaian politician in the first republic. He was the member of parliament for the Agona Nsaba constituency from 1965 to 1966. Prior to entering parliament he was the chairman of the Agona Local Council and later chairman of the National Association of Local Government Councils. Early life and education Arko was born on 21 March 1920 at Nsaba, a town in the Central Region of Ghana. He was educated at the Nsaba Presbyterian Middle Boarding School and Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast. He proceeded to the United Kingdom to study Local Government Administration after working with U. Nick Skelton
Nicholas David Skelton (born 30 December 1957, Bedworth, Warwickshire) is a British former equestrianism, equestrian who competed in show jumping. He retired at the age of 59 years old, on 5 April 2017. He began riding at age 18 months and in 1975 took two team silvers and an individual gold at the Junior European Championships. He has competed numerous times at the European Show Jumping Championships, winning three golds, three silvers and three bronzes both individually and with the British team over 26 years. In 1980, he competed in the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott, Alternative Olympics, where he helped the British team to a silver medal. Kenneth Richard "Arko" Arthurson AM (born 1 October 1929) is an Australian rugby league football identity. Affectionately known as "The Godfather of Manly", he played, coached and was later an administrator at the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles club in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership.
