Arkia (stylized as arkia), legally incorporated as Arkia Israeli Airlines Ltd, is an Israeli airline. Its head office is on the grounds of Sde Dov Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel. It is Israel's second-largest airline, operating scheduled domestic and international services, as well as charter flights to destinations in Western Europe and across the Mediterranean. The Douglas DC-3 is a propeller-driven airliner manufactured by the Douglas Aircraft Company, which had a lasting effect on the airline industry in the 1930s to 1940s and World War II. Ofira (; ) is an Egyptian neighborhood that was formerly an Israeli settlement in the Sharm El Sheikh area of the southern Sinai Peninsula, an Egyptian territory that was under occupation from 1967 to 1982. Ofira was settled from 1969 and was meant to accommodate 500 families. An airfield was opened in 1968, today known as Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport. Rosh Pinna () or Rosh Pina, is a town in the Korazim Plateau in the Upper Galilee on the eastern slopes of Mount Kna'an in the Northern District of Israel. It was established as Gei Oni in 1878 by local Jews from Tzfat but was nearly abandoned, except for the families of Yosef Friedman, Aharon Keller, and possibly a few others.
