The mango tilapia (''Sarotherodon galilaeus'') is a species of fish from the cichlid family that is native to fresh and brackish waters in Africa and the Levant. CRISPR (; acronym of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) is a family of DNA sequences found in the genomes of prokaryotic organisms such as bacteria and archaea.
