Antonio C. Delgado
Antonio Concepcion Delgado (December 21, 1917 - December 7, 1992) was an industrialist and civic leader who was appointed Holy See–Philippines relations, Philippine Ambassador to the Holy See, Vatican. Early life Antonio Delgado was born in San Pablo, Laguna, the fourth of eight children of physician Jose Maria Delgado (the first Philippine Ambassador to the Vatican) and Felisa Concepcion. Antonio graduated valedictorian in high school at San Beda College in 1933, and took his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering, magna cum laude, at the University of Santo Tomas in 1937. He saw action with the Philippine Army and as a guerrilla during World War II. He married Nellie Chuidian in 1944, and they had four children, namely Jose Roberto, Lolita, Jose Antonio, and Jose Eduardo. San Pablo, officially the City of San Pablo ( fil, Lungsod ng San Pablo), is a 1st class component city in the province of Laguna, Philippines. The 10th World Scout Jamboree was held 17–26 July 1959 and was hosted by the Philippines at Mount Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna. Dubbed "The Bamboo Jamboree" due to the prevalence of bamboo and nipa palm. There were a total 12,203 Scouts from 44 countries. The theme was "Building Tomorrow Today".
