Anthony's Triangle
The Anthony triangle (also Anthony's triangle) is an organizational model. The triangle takes a hierarchical view of management structure, with many operational decisions at the bottom, some tactical decisions in the middle and few but important strategic decisions at the top of the triangle. The higher in the triangle an item is, the more scope it covers and less precise it becomes. As items move down they become more detailed and apply more precisely. Strategy (from Greek στρατηγία ''stratēgia'', "art of troop leader; office of general, command, generalship") is a general plan to achieve one or more long-term or overall goals under conditions of uncertainty. In the sense of the " art of the general", which included several subsets of skills including military tactics, siegecraft, logistics etc., the term came into use in the 6th century C.E. in Eastern Roman terminology, and was translated into Western vernacular languages only in the 18th century. A management system is a set of policies, processes and procedures used by an organization to ensure that it can fulfill the tasks required to achieve its objectives.
