is a 1995 Japanese animated historical film based on Anne Frank's 1942-1944 ''The Diary of a Young Girl''. It is a feature film by Madhouse (company), Madhouse, was directed by Akinori Nagaoka and released on August 19, 1995. Voice cast Production Nagaoka's film features new character designs by Katsuyuki Kubo and features a score composed by Michael Nyman, including two songs, "If" (which incorporates "Time Lapse" from ''A Zed & Two Noughts'') and "Why," which have become concert works. The Diary Of A Young Girl
''The Diary of a Young Girl'', commonly referred to as ''The Diary of Anne Frank'', is a book of the writings from the Dutch language, Dutch-language diary kept by Anne Frank while she was in hiding for two years with her family during the Netherlands in World War II, Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. The family was apprehended in 1944, and Anne Frank died of typhus in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945. Anne's diaries were retrieved by Miep Gies and Bep Voskuijl. Miep gave them to Anne's father, Otto Frank, the family's only survivor, just after the Second World War was over. The diary has since been published in more than 70 languages. Fritz Pfeffer
Friedrich "Fritz" Pfeffer (30 April 1889 – 20 December 1944) was a German dentist and Jewish refugee who hid with Anne Frank and her family and the Van Pels family during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. He perished in the Neuengamme concentration camp in Northern Germany. Pfeffer was given the pseudonym Albert Dussel in Frank's diary, and remains known as such in many editions and adaptations of the publication. Early life Fritz Pfeffer was born in Gießen, Germany, one of the six children of Ignatz Pfeffer and Jeannette Hirsch-Pfeffer, who lived above their clothing and textiles shop at 6 Marktplatz in Giessen. After completing his education, Pfeffer trained as a dentist and jaw surgeon, obtained a license to practice in 1911 and opened a surgery the following year in Berlin. ''After Extra Time'' is a 1996 album by Michael Nyman with the Michael Nyman Band containing three tributes to Nyman's fandom of Association football: ''After Extra Time'', the soundtrack to '' The Final Score'', and ''Memorial''. The latter is described as a remix, but is simply the 1992 recording from '' The Essential Michael Nyman Band''. It was included in order to put it together with his two other football-inspired works (he has since written another: see '' Acts of Beauty • Exit no Exit''). The album lists only three tracks, which has caused it to be erroneously reported that ''Memorial'' is track 3 and the others are all hidden tracks, but ''Memorial'' is track 26. Hilary Summers is a Welsh lyric contralto. She was trained at Reading University, the Royal Academy of Music, and the National Opera Studio in London. A contralto () is a classical music, classical female singing human voice, voice whose vocal range is the lowest of their voice type, voice types.
