Anglican Province Of Jos
The Jos Province is one of the 14 ecclesiastical provinces of the Church of Nigeria. It was one of the original ten provinces created in 2002. It is divided into ten dioceses, 31 archdeaconries and 137 parishes. The ten dioceses of the Jos Province are: * Bauchi (29 September 1990; Bishop: Musa Mwin Tula; first bishop E. O. The Church of Nigeria is the Anglican church in Nigeria. It is the second-largest province in the Anglican Communion, as measured by baptised membership (not by attendance), after the Church of England. it gives its membership as "over 18 million", out of a total Nigerian population of 190 million. It is "effectively the largest province in the Communion." As measured by active membership, the Church of Nigeria has nearly 2 million active baptised members. According to a study published by ''Cambridge University Press'' in the ''Journal of Anglican Studies'', there are between 4.94 and 11.74 million Anglicans in Nigeria. Henry Ndukuba
Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba (born 18 July 1961) is the current Primate of the Church of Nigeria. Prior to his appointment, he was Archbishop of Jos and Bishop of Gombe. Biography Henry Ndukuba was born in a Christian home in Anambra State. His parents, Silas and Selina Ndukuba, were Christian Missionary Society (now known as Anglican) school and church teachers from Ogberuru in Diocese of Orlu, (which happens to be Henry's home diocese) Orlu, Imo State. Ndukuba is married to Angela E. Ndukuba (née Okoro), an educationist. They have six children, a grandson and two granddaughters. Education He attended Bishop Shanahan College, Orlu and had his WASC in 1978. He worked in Kano State Library, ministry of education 1979–1980. Emmanuel Kana Mani
Emmanuel Kana Mani was an Anglican bishop in Nigeria. Mani was born on 10 June 1951, in Zuru, Kebbi State. He enlisted in the Nigeria Army in 1968 where he became a military chaplain. He was ordained in 1983. He was elected Bishop of Maiduguri in 1990; and Archbishop of Jos in 2002. After serving one term of 5 years, he was replaced as Archbishop of Jos by Benjamin Kwashi Benjamin Argak Kwashi (born Plateau State, 1955) is a Nigerian Anglican archbishop.
