The Anglican Province of Enugu is one of the 14 ecclesiastical provinces of the Church of Nigeria. The province comprises 12 dioceses. The Archbishop of the Province of Enugu is Emmanuel Chukwuma, who succeeded Amos Madu in 2014. Madu was Archbishop since 2009. It is the second-largest province in the Anglican Communion, as measured by baptised membership (not by attendance), after the Church of England. it gives its membership as "over 18 million", out of a total Nigerian population of 190 million. It is one of th ... bishop in Nigeria: he is the current Bishop of Enugu North. Eze was born on 27 February 1961 in Ovoko, Enugu State. He attended Igbo-Eze Secondary School Enugu Ezike and Anglican Grammar School, Nsukka. He gained a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Federal Polytechnic Idah in 1982, followed by a B.Eng. from Anambra State University of Science and Technology Enugu (now Enugu State University of Science and Technology). Abuja () is the capital and eighth most populous city of Nigeria. Ngwo
Ngwo is a town located in the south-eastern state of Enugu, Nigeria, with a population of about 100,000 people. The towns native population are of Igbo ethnicity. History Ngwo people descended from the man called Ngwu-Ako who lived at a place now called "Isi Okpoto" the present day St. Mary Catholic Church and its environs with his wife. Ngwu-Ako gave it the name "Okpotokpo" literally in English (large) because the fruits and trees that grew there were of very large sizes and shapes. That is, for him, they were "okpotokpo" (very large/huge). Living there with his wife, they begot their ten (10) male children who eventually metamorphosed into the ten villages of Ngwo, namely: Uboji, Amankwo, Ameke, Ukaka, Enugu, Etiti, Amachala, Amaebo, Okwojo, and Umuase. While the first three (3) got settled at a place now called Ngwo-uno, the last seven (7) settled at a place also now called Ngwo-asaa.
