Angela Kovács
Angela Anna Margareta Kovács (born 23 May 1964 in Vaksala, Uppland) is a Swedish actress of Hungarian descent. She studied at the Gothenburg Theatre Academy from 1987 until 1990. She then began her career as a stage actress, working at the Gothenburg City Theatre, the Helsingborg City Theater, and the Royal Dramatic Theatre. Kurt Wallander () is a fictional Swedish police inspector created by Swedish crime writer Henning Mankell (1948 – 2015). He is the protagonist of many thriller/ mystery novels set in and around the town of Ystad, south-east of the city of Malmö, in the southern province of Scania. Wallander has been portrayed on screen by the actors Rolf Lassgård, Krister Henriksson, Sir Kenneth Branagh and Adam Pålsson. Biography Wallander was born in 1948. ''Wallander'' () is a Swedish television series adapted from Henning Mankell's Kurt Wallander novels, starring Krister Henriksson in the title role. The first season of thirteen films was produced in 2005 and 2006, with one taken directly from a novel and the remainder with new storylines suggested by Mankell. Daniel Lind Lagerlöf (6 February 1969 – missing since 6 October 2011) is a Swedish director, screenwriter and producer who is presumed dead. Career Lagerlöf began his work in television as an assistant, and directed his first film, ''Föreställningen'' (''The Performance'') in 1990. In 1997, he began working on ''Skärgårdsdoktorn'', a highly successful drama series in Sweden and Norway. After it ended in 2000, Lagerlöf worked on several ''Beck''-films, before returning to television. His last completed project was the three-part mini-series ''Bibliotekstjuven'' (the Library Thief), written by his wife Malin Lagerlöf.
