Ángel García Peña (1856 – November 23, 1928) was a Mexican Major General who served the Maderistas during the Mexican Revolution with his most notable role being in the Ten Tragic Days. Biography He was born in the city of Chihuahua City, Chihuahua in 1856, being the son of Rodrigo García and Guadalupe Peña. On January 2, 1872, he entered the Heroic Military Academy, and on December 4 of 1875 was promoted to the rank of second lieutenant of artillery and two years later in 1877, artillery lieutenant. Little by little he rose and in September 1878 he was part of the General Staff of the 3rd Division; and in 1879, with the rank of captain first, he passed to the Department of the General Staff. Angelo Garcia (born March 28, 1976) is an American singer of Puerto Rican descent, who was a member of Puerto Rican boy band Menudo from 1988 to 1990. Career A native New Yorker born in Brooklyn, New York, he barely spoke Spanish when he auditioned for a spot in the band Menudo after seeing a television commercial in Puerto Rico during a family vacation. After two years with Menudo, García parted with the band and signed with World Wide Entertainment. As a solo artist he recorded several songs including "Magic", "Yours So Completely", and a remake of singer Tiffany's hit song " Could've Been" but it was his single "Don't Keep Me Holding On" (written and produced by Lewis Martineé of Exposé fame) that became a success. Miguel Ángel García Hernández (29 January 1899 – 14 December 1930) was a Spanish soldier who was one of the leaders of the failed Jaca uprising which tried to overthrow the monarchy. He was executed by firing squad after a summary trial. The incident caused general public outrage. He became a hero of the Second Spanish Republic when it was established a few months later.
