Andrew Watt (lacrosse)
Andrew Watt (born January 9, 1984) is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and the Peterborough Lakers of Major Series Lacrosse. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Watt began his career with the hometown Kitchener-Waterloo Braves of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League, with whom he played from 2001 to 2005. Watt was eventually called up to the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks, and has also played for the Six Nations Chiefs before continuing his MSL career with the Lakers. Andrew Wotman (born October 20, 1990), known professionally as Andrew Watt, is an American record producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Watt's debut solo single "Ghost in My Head" reached No. 30 on the ''Billboard'' Mainstream Rock chart in 2016. Watt won the 2021 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year. He has produced albums for Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, Morrissey and many others. Watt is also the guitarist of the Earthlings, the backing band for Eddie Vedder's solo performances. Career Watt grew up in Great Neck, New York. He attended John L. Andrew Watt FRSE (1869–1929) was a 19th/20th-century meteorologist who worked in and helped to develop the Scottish Meteorological Society and the Royal Meteorological Society. Life He was born in Edinburgh in 1869. His family left Edinburgh in his youth and went to Dumfriesshire where he was educated at Dumfries Academy. He returned to Edinburgh to study mathematics at the University of Edinburgh graduating in 1889. He moved to Australia (partly on health grounds) where he obtained a post teaching mathematics at the Scots' College, Melbourne. In 1894 he returned to Britain and continued as a maths teacher until 1900 when he joined the staff of the Scottish Meteorological Society as assistant to Dr Alexander Buchan. In 1905 he replaced Miss Jessie Buchan as Secretary to the Society and in 1907 he replaced Dr Buchan as Director of the Society. The Society was based at 122 George Street in Edinburgh. Andrew Wyatt Blakemore is an American musician, songwriter and record producer. Born and raised in Manhattan, New York, he began his career playing in New York bands such as The A.M. and Black Beetle. He gained wider notability as the frontman of the Swedish electronic pop band Miike Snow, which released its acclaimed debut album in 2009.
