Andrew Downing Saunders (22 September 1931 – 13 March 2009) was an internationally recognised expert in artillery fortifications and Chief Inspector of Ancient Monuments and Historic Buildings in England between 1973 and 1989. Andy Saunders (Andrew Roy Saunders) is an English author and researcher from East Sussex who specializes in military aviation history with particular emphasis on the Battle of Britain and the air war over north-west Europe between 1939 and 1945. He regularly contributes to the world's aviation press on military history topics and has also written for national newspapers, including “The Mail on Sunday”. He is a former editor of ''Britain at War'' magazine, published by Lincolnshire-based Key Publishing. Andy Saunders (born 14 September 1994) is a former Australian professional rugby league footballer. He previously played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the National Rugby League. He is a former Penrith Panthers National Youth Championship Captain and has played over 100 games in the NRL's second tier reserve grade competition. Andy Saunders is a British film restorer and author who specialises in historical NASA imagery. He created the only clear image of Neil Armstrong on the moon and for his book, ''Apollo Remastered''. Early life Saunders was born in Appley Bridge, near Wigan in England and went to Loughborough University. He worked in logistics management and home renovations before he began restoring old film of the Apollo space missions. Film restoration Saunders started working on historic film in around 2010 when he applied a stacking technique to 16 mm movie footage "to produce a clear, recognisable image of Neil Armstrong on the moon". He released the image in 2019, which made the front page of ''The Daily Telegraph'' on Apollo 11's 50th anniversary. Electric Guitars
Electric Guitars were an English band formed early in 1980 by Neil Davenport (vocals, lyrics) and Richard Hall (bass, vocals) who were both studying English at Bristol University. The band soon increased to a five-man line-up, with Andy Sanders (guitar, vocals), Matt Salt (drums) and Dick Truscott (keyboards), they also later added two backing singers: Sarah and Wendy Patridge. Their first single "Health" / "Continental Shelf" was released on local label Fried Egg Records in 1980. They contributed four live tracks to the first edition of '' The Bristol Recorder'' in 1980, and in 1981 released their second single "Work" / "Don’t Wake the Baby" on Recreational Records, which reached No. 45 on the UK Indie Chart. Tears for Fears are an English pop rock band formed in Bath in 1981 by Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal.
