Andrew Jack (dialect Coach)
Andrew Jack (born Andrew Duncan Hutchinson; 28 January 1944 – 31 March 2020) was a British dialect coach and actor from London who had worked on over 80 motion pictures since 1982. Early life His father Stephen Jack was an actor in films, radio and television. Career He had worked with over 200 actors including Robert Downey Jr. (in Richard Attenborough's '' Chaplin'', Michael Hoffman's ''Restoration'' and Guy Ritchie's '' Sherlock Holmes''), Pierce Brosnan (in ''GoldenEye'', ''Tomorrow Never Dies'' and ''Die Another Day''), Cate Blanchett, and Viggo Mortensen. As supervising dialect coach for ''The Lord of the Rings'', he created the Middle-earth accents and taught them, along with Elvish and Black Speech, to the cast of the trilogy. Finchley () is a large district of north London, England, in the London Borough of Barnet. Finchley is on high ground, north of Charing Cross. Nearby districts include: Golders Green, Muswell Hill, Friern Barnet, Whetstone, Mill Hill and Hendon. The Resistance is a fictional partisan resistance movement and private paramilitary force led by General Leia Organa that opposes the First Order in the fictional universe of '' Star Wars''. It is a splinter of the military of the New Republic and takes inspiration from the Rebel Alliance, which had established the democratic New Republic after its war with the Galactic Empire. Evan Harold Davis (born 8 April 1962) is an English economist, journalist, and presenter for the BBC. He has presented ''Dragons' Den'' since 2005. Wolfgang Petersen (14 March 1941 – 12 August 2022) was a German film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was nominated for two Academy Awards for the World War II submarine warfare film '' Das Boot'' (1981). His other films include '' The NeverEnding Story'' (1984), '' Enemy Mine'' (1985), '' In the Line of Fire'' (1993), ''Outbreak'' (1995), ''Air Force One'' (1997), '' The Perfect Storm'' (2000), ''Troy'' (2004), and ''Poseidon'' (2006). Trojan Language
The Trojan language was the language spoken in Troy during the Late Bronze Age. The identity of the language is unknown, and it is not certain that there was one single language used in the city at the time. Theories Luwian One candidate language is Luwian, an Anatolian language which was widely spoken in Western Anatolia during the Late Bronze Age. Arguments in favor of this hypothesis include seemingly Luwian-origin Trojan names such as "Kukkunni" and " Wilusiya", cultural connections between Troy and the nearby Luwian-speaking states of Arzawa, and a seal with Hieroglyphic Luwian writing found in the ruins of Troy VIIb1. However, these arguments are not regarded as conclusive. No Trojan name is indisputably Luwian, and some are most likely not, for instance the seemingly Greek name "Alaksandu".
