Andrew Hope Davidson
Andrew Hope Davidson MD, FRCPI, FRCOG (May 29, 1895 – February 12, 1967) was professor of midwifery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He graduated from Trinity College in 1917, and subsequently served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Palestine and Syria during the First World War. He returned to Dublin, and qualified in medicine in 1920. The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI), () is an Irish professional body dedicated to improving the practice of general medicine and related medical specialty, medical specialities, chiefly through the accreditation of physicians by examination. History The "Royal" in the title comes from the royal charters that were granted in 1667, by King Charles II of England, and in 1692, by King William III of England, William III and Queen Mary II of England.
