Enchanted (film)
''Enchanted'' is a 2007 American musical fantasy romantic comedy film directed by Kevin Lima and written by Bill Kelly. Co-produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Josephson Entertainment and Right Coast Productions, the film stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Timothy Spall, Idina Menzel, Rachel Covey, and Susan Sarandon, with Julie Andrews as the narrator. It focuses on an archetypal Disney princess-to-be exiled from her animated world into the live-action world of New York City. The film is both a homage to and a self-parody of Disney's animated features, making numerous references to past works through the combination of live-action filmmaking, traditional animation, and computer-generated imagery. It also marks the return of traditional animation to a Disney feature film after the company's decision to move entirely to computer animation in 2004. Composer Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz, who had written songs for previous Disney films, wrote and prod ... Jet Fuel Formula
"Jet Fuel Formula" is the first and the longest Rocky and Bullwinkle story arc and is the pilot of ''The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends''. (''Jet Fuel Formula'' covers forty episodes while the average story arc includes approximately sixteen.) It is also noteworthy in that it established most of the characters, themes, running gags, and other elements that would be employed in later stories and that would become so closely identified with the Rocky and Bullwinkle programs in the years since. The first few episodes contained a laugh track, which was removed when the episodes were released as part of ''Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends Complete Season 1''. In spite of the title, the story actually concerns the pursuit of a formula for ''rocket'' fuel. Broadcast history The first and second episodes of ''Jet Fuel Formula'' first aired on Thursday, November 19, 1959, as part of the series premiere of ''Rocky and His Friends'' on the ABC television network. Andalucia (Excavata)
''Andalucia'' is a genus of jakobids. Classification The morphology of ''Andalucia'' broadly resembles that of other jakobids. Molecular data has not always been conclusive, but recent phylogenomic analyses indicate that ''Andalucia'' is a sister group to the other jakobids, in other words more closely related to them than to the Heterolobosea or Euglenozoa (the other two groups in the Discoba). The α-tubulin gene of ''Andalucia'' more closely resembles that of opisthokonts and diplomonads than its closer relatives, the apparent result of horizontal gene transfer. Species As of 2009, the genus contains two species: * '' A. incarcerata'' was until 2006 known as ''Jakoba incarcerata''. It lives in sulfide-rich sediments, especially marine intertidal ones. Currently it is the type species of the genus '' Stygiella'' Pánek, Táborský & Čepička 2015. * '' A. godoyi'' is a soil heterotroph A heterotroph (; ) is an organism that cannot produce its own food, instead taking ...
