''Anaphalis margaritacea'', commonly known as the western pearly everlasting or pearly everlasting, is an Asian and North American species of flowering perennial plant in the family Asteraceae. Description ''A. margaritacea'' grows erect up to about tall, with narrow, alternate leaves up to . The undersides of the leaves are densely covered in tiny hairs. The stems are dry and brittle. Corymb is a botanical term for an inflorescence with the flowers growing in such a fashion that the outermost are borne on longer pedicels than the inner, bringing all flowers up to a common level.
