Anahà Ballent
Anahà Ballent (born 1956) is an Argentine architect whose research focuses on human habitation in Argentina. She is a professor at the National University of Quilmes and has been a full member of CONICET since 1998. She obtained a degree in architecture from the National University of La Plata's Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning in 1981 and a Ph.D. in history from the University of Buenos Aires in 1997. Ballent is the author of over 30 book chapters and four books. Tandil is the main city of the homonymous partido (department), located in Argentina, in the southeast of Buenos Aires Province, just north-northwest of Tandilia hills. Martha Levisman
Martha Levisman de Clusellas (18 August 1933 – 13 June 2022) was an Argentine architect, archivist, and historian. She was best known for the three buildings of the Antorchas Foundation in Buenos Aires and for the part she played in the development of the National Library in Buenos Aires. In 1985 she completed the first Antorchas building. Writer Roberto Segren notes how in her work on the first Antorchas building transformed a "decayed palace representative of the anonymous architecture of Italian builders of the late nineteenth century" in the San Telmo, Buenos Aires, San Telmo neighborhood.
