Anabel is an unincorporated community in eastern Macon County, Missouri Missouri (''see #Etymology and pronunciation, pronunciation'') is a U.S. state, state in the Midwestern United States, Midwestern region of the United States. Ranking List of U.S. states and territories by area, 21st in land area, it border ..., United States. It is located on U.S. Route 36, approximately seven miles east of Macon. History Variant names given to Anabel were "Beverly" and "Round Grove". A post office called Round Grove was established in 1869, and the name was changed to Beverley in 1870. It was changed once again to Anabel in 1889, and the post office subsequently closed in 1999. The present name of Anabel was derived from the name of the daughter of a local storekeeper, according to local history. In 1925, Anabel had 63 inhabitants. ''Anabel'' is a Brazilian animated television series created by Lancast Mota and produced by Sergio Martinelli. It was the first Brazilian animated series on Nickelodeon Brazil, starting with a series of animated shorts that aired during commercial breaks in 2004, until the full series debuted on February 26, 2005 on the TV show ''Patrulha Nick''. From the following year onwards the show was moved to TV Rá-Tim-Bum, where the second season premiered on February 5, 2011. The show also aired on TVE and its successor TV Brasil. A comic strip adaptation also ran in the children's magazine ''Recreio'' between 2008 and 2011. Premise Set in the 1930s, the show revolves on a girl named Anabel, who lives with her unnamed parents in the city of Porto Alegre. She goes to school by riding the city's tramcars. Anabel Ferreira (born ''Anabel Ferreira Batiz''; 26 September 1962, in Aguascalientes) is a Mexican actress and comedian. Ferreira has been with Televisa from 1981 until 1996 and again since 2008. In between, she spent a decade at TV Azteca. Most recently appearing on the Televisa telenovela '' Soy tu dueña'', she is best known as the star of her own comedy/variety series, ''¡Anabel!'' (Both programs, as with most of Ferreira's work with Televisa, have aired on Univisión & Galavisión in the United States, among other networks in other countries). Ferreira still works in Mexico but now lives in Los Angeles. She has dual citizenship with Mexico & United States. Early career After graduating from high school in Aguascalientes, Ferreira relocated to Mexico City in 1978 so that she could take acting classes.
