Amoy Gardens
Amoy Gardens () is a private housing estate in the Jordan Valley, Hong Kong, Jordan Valley area of Kowloon, Hong Kong completed from 1981 to 1987. It was the most seriously affected location during the 2003 outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), with over 300 people infected there. Features Amoy Gardens comprises 19 blocks, lettered A to S, with heights ranging from 30 to 40 floors. The eight blocks A-H are 33 storeys/105 m high, and situated on a podium 14 m high, which houses a commercial centre. These eight blocks have eight flats per floor arranged in a cruciform shape. Each arm of the cruciform contains two apartments. There is a shopping arcade (Amoy Plaza) as well as a food square within the Amoy Gardens estate. Ngau Tau Kok () is an area of eastern Kowloon in Hong Kong, in the north of Kwun Tong District east to Kowloon Bay. Largely residential, Ngau Tau Kok has a population in excess of 210,000. Lower Ngau Tau Kok (II) Estate was a 7-block public housing estate built on reclaimed land in Ngau Tau Kok, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong, located opposite Kowloon Bay station on the MTR. The demolition of the estate started in March 2010. The estate, along with the Lower Ngau Tau Kok (I) Estate, which was demolished in June 2004, formed the Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate. A new estate, retaining the name Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate, is being constructed on the site. The estate was often described as the last resettlement estate in Hong Kong. East Kowloon Cultural Centre
The East Kowloon Cultural Centre is an under construction arts complex in Jordan Valley, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It will be located on part of the former site of Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate, directly across Kwun Tong Road from Kowloon Bay station. It will be built on a site at an estimated cost of $4.1 billion and is expected to open in 2024. The centre will house five performance halls including a 1,200-seat multi-purpose hall and a 550-seat theatre, plus three smaller venues. Kowloon Bay Station
Kowloon Bay is a station on the Hong Kong MTR . It is located between Choi Hung and Ngau Tau Kok stations in Kowloon East. The station was opened in 1979. Kowloon Bay station is one of the five MTR stations on the Kwun Tong line located above ground level, and one of three to be elevated and open-air (the other two being Ngau Tau Kok and Kwun Tong). Due to difficulties in installing platform screen doors (PSDs) in above ground stations,automatic platform gates (APGs) were installed on the station's platforms in 2011.
