Amit Sharma (born 20 November 1974), is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. Amit Sharma was considered as an allrounder and was the captain of the U-19 team that visited England in 1994 season and won the test series 1-0 that included a Test match century in the second game. The team lost 2–0 in the ODI series. Prominent members of the squad who made it to International cricket included VVS Laxman, Hrishikesh Kanitkar and Iqbal Siddiqui. Amit Ravindernath Sharma (born 13 April 1978) is an Indian film and advertisement director and producer. In feature films, he is best known for producing and directing the 2018 National-award winning film '' Badhaai Ho'', which was one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2018, having earned ₹220.34 crore ( $31 million) as of December 2018. While still in school, he connected with film director Pradeep Sarkar, and was invited to shoot an advert in Manali. Amit Prakash Sharma (born April 12, 1968) is an Indian parasitologist and former director of National Institute of Malaria Research, New Delhi.
