Amira Willighagen
Amira Willighagen (born 27 March 2004) is a Dutch soprano who won the sixth season of '' Holland's Got Talent'' in 2013, at the age of nine. Early life Amira Willighagen was born in Nijmegen to a Dutch father and a South African mother whose mother tongue is Afrikaans. She grew up surrounded by classical music. At the age of seven, during a holiday in the United Kingdom, she heard the aria " Nessun dorma", performed by Luciano Pavarotti. In that period she looked at her brother Fincent playing the violin, their mother Frieda also played the violin and the father Gerrit played the piano. She did not know how to play instruments, so she tried to sing vocally. At the beginning, before taking singing lessons, Willighagen taught herself to sing opera arias, using YouTube tutorials. That's how she discovered her talent and passion for music. Even her mother was surprised when she heard her the first time singing. ''Amira'' () is a 2021 drama film co-written and directed by Mohamed Diab. The film is produced by Mohamed Hefzy for Film Clinic, Mona Abdelwahab for Agora Audiovisuals, Moez Masoud for Acamedia Pictures in co-production with Youssef El Taher for Taher Media Production and Rula Nasser for The Imaginarium Films. The film stars Tara Abboud in the title role and Saba Mubarak and Ali Suliman in supporting roles. The film revolves around Amira, a 17-year-old Palestinian, who is told that she was conceived with the smuggled sperm of her imprisoned father, Nawar. This is the first film by an Egyptian director set in Palestine. The film had its world premiere at Venice International Film Festival on September 3, 2021, and competed within the Orizzonti competition. Amira Rasheed, or simply known as Amira, is a dance music singer best known for the song "My Desire" which charted three times on the UK Singles Chart, with its highest position at No. 20 in 2001. It also reached No. 1 on the UK Dance Singles Chart for one week in its first release in December 1997, and was also the first number one Dance hit of 1998 after it climbed back to the top of the chart three weeks later in the week ending 3 January 1998.
