''Amiche da morire'' (''Friends to Die For'') is a 2013 Italian black comedy film written and directed by Giorgia Farina, in her directorial debut. For this film, Farina received a David di Donatello nomination for best new director. Plot Gilda, Olivia and Crocetta are three women who live on a small island of Sicily. The women try to live as they can: Gilda works as a call-girl for the affluent men of the island and the occasional tourist; Olivia is married to the most handsome man in town, a fisherman who is suspiciously always away working; and Crocetta is a spinster and a jinx who brings bad luck to every man who courts her. A dangerous opportunity presents itself when the women go one night to an island cave because they suspect that Rocco, Olivia's husband, is going to meet an alleged lover there. Claudia Gerini
Claudia Gerini (; born 18 December 1971) is an Italian actress and singer. Life and career Born in Rome, Gerini won the National Competition of Miss Teenager in 1985. She got her first part in a film, ''La ballata di Eva'', at 14. She subsequently played in ''Ciao mà'', ''Roba da ricchi'' and ''Night Club'', by Sergio Corbucci, and many others. Aurora "Rori" Quattrocchi (born 18 March 1943) is an Italian television, stage and film actress. Life and career Born in Matulji (at the time part of the Kingdom of Italy with the name Mattuglie) where her Sicilian father was serving as an army officer, at 5 years old Quattrocchi lost her mother and went to live in Palermo with her aunt and uncle. ''Panorama'' is a weekly Italian-language news magazine published in Italy and based in Milan. History and overview ''Panorama'' was founded in Milan in 1939. The magazine was temporarily closed by the Fascist rule in December 1940 due to the publication of the translated texts by Ada Prospero.
