America's Crossroads Bowl
The America's Crossroads Bowl is an annual American NCAA Division II college football bowl game held at Brickyard Stadium in Hobart, Indiana. The game operates as a partnership between the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority, and the city of Hobart, Indiana. Currently, the America's Crossroads Bowl is one of two Division II sanctioned bowl games, along with the Heritage Bowl. The top-placing teams from the GLVC and G-MAC not qualifying for the NCAA Division II Football Championship playoffs receive an invitation to compete. Hobart, Indiana
Hobart ( , ) is a city in Lake County, Indiana, United States. The population was 29,752 at the 2020 census, up from 29,059 in 2010. It has been historically primarily residential, though recent annexation has added a notable retail corridor to the city. History Hobart was platted in 1849. George Earle, an English immigrant, bought land from the Potawatomi Native American tribe, who built a dam on Deep River, creating Lake George. The Indianapolis Greyhounds, also the UIndy Greyhounds, are the athletic teams that represent the University of Indianapolis (UIndy), located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Greyhounds compete in NCAA Division II as members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). In North America, a bowl game, or simply bowl, is one of a number of postseason college football games primarily played by NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) teams. For most of its history, the FBS did not use a playoff tournament to determine an annual national champion, instead relying on a vote by sportswriters or coaches. The 2022 Midwest Athletic Conference football season was the season of college football played by the nine member schools of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) as part of the 2022 NCAA Division II football season. 2022 Truman State Bulldogs Football Team
The 2022 Great Lakes Valley Conference football season was the season of college football contested by the seven football-playing member schools of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) as part of the 2022 NCAA Division II football season. Indianapolis compiled a 9–1 record, won the GLVC championship, and was ranked No. 13 in the final regular season NCAA Division II poll.
