Amar'e Stoudemire Free Throw
Amar'e Carsares Stoudemire (born November 16, 1982) is an American-Israeli professional basketball coach and former player who most recently served as a player development assistant for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He will be inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in the summer of 2025. He won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award in 2003 with the Phoenix Suns, who selected him with the ninth overall pick of the 2002 NBA draft. He made six appearances in the NBA All-Star Game and was named to the All-NBA Team five times, including one first-team selection in 2007. Amar'e Stoudemire was inducted into Phoenix Suns Ring of Honor on March 2, 2024. Stoudemire played high school basketball for three schools, ultimately graduating from Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, Florida, and declaring for the NBA draft as a prep-to-pro player. The Phoenix Suns are an American professional basketball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. The NBA All-Rookie Team is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) honor given since the 1962–63 NBA season to the top rookies during the regular season. Voting is conducted by the NBA head coaches who are not allowed to vote for players on their own team. The 2018–19 Israeli Basketball State Cup was the 59th edition of the Israeli Basketball State Cup, organized by the Israel Basketball Association. The Final Four of the tournament was held from February 11–14 in the Pais Arena in Jerusalem.
