The Men's Downhill competition of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics was held at Whistler Blackcomb in Whistler, British Columbia. The competition was scheduled for Saturday, March 13, but was postponed to Thursday, March 18 due to bad weather conditions. Chris Williamson (born May 5, 1972) is a Canadian alpine skier and Paralympic Champion. His fatherPeter was a speed skater for Canada in the 1968 Winter Olympics and subsequently coached stars such as Mike Ireland and Clara Hughes. Williamson competed in the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver, Canada. He became 4th in the Giant slalom, 6th in the Slalom, 4th in the Super combined, visually impaired, and 6th in the Super-G, visually impaired. Nathan Chivers (born 18 July 1976) is an Australian guide skier and skis with Bart Bunting, whom he met in high school. Bartholomew Bunting (born 19 July 1976) is an Australian blind Paralympic alpine skier. He started skiing in 1998 with his guide Nathan Chivers. He won two gold medals and a silver medal with Chivers at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Paralympics and competed at the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics. Personal Bunting was born on 19 July 1976, and has been blind since birth. Bunting attended the secondary school Oakhill College.
