Almost Human (1977 Film)
''Shock Waves'' is a 1977 American horror film written and directed by Ken Wiederhorn. The film is about a group of tourists who encounter aquatic Nazi zombies when they become shipwrecked. It stars Peter Cushing as a former SS commander, Brooke Adams as a tourist, and John Carradine as the captain of the tourists' boat. Plot A group of tourists are on a small de recreo boat. After trouble with the engine, the navigation system goes haywire when they encounter an unusual orange haze. They start sensing that something is wrong. Tourist Norman becomes particularly abrasive. At night, a hulking cargo ship appears and sideswipes their boat. The boat's captain sends up a flare, which lights up the sight of a huge, rotting vessel wrecked nearby. Ken Wiederhorn
Ken Wiederhorn (born 1945) is an American former news and documentary editor at CBS and film director, film and television director, known mainly for the horror films ''Shock Waves (film), Shock Waves'' and ''Return of the Living Dead Part II''. Other features include ''Eyes of a Stranger (1981 film), Eyes of a Stranger'', ''Meatballs II'', and ''A House in the Hills''. He also directed multiple episodes of ''21 Jump Street'', ''Dark Justice'', and ''Freddy's Nightmares''. Documentaries include, "Mission In Mississippi", "Breaking Vegas", "US Marshals; The Real Story", "Hunt for Amazing Treasure" and "Fugitive Task Force". Blue Underground is an American company specializing in releasing remastered editions of cult, horror, and exploitation movies on DVD. It was founded in 2002 by filmmaker William Lustig.
