Alldays & Onions was an England, English engineering businessAlldays & Onions. ''The Times'', Friday, Jan. 14, 1916 Issue: 41063 and an early automobile manufacturer based at Great Western Works and Matchless Works, Small Heath, Birmingham. It manufactured cars from 1898 to 1918. The cars were sold under the Alldays & Onions name. Alldays also built an early British built tractor, the ''Alldays General Purpose Tractor''. After the First World War the cars were sold under the name Enfield Alldays. Car production seems to have ceased in the 1920s but the manufacture of many other items continued. The company became part of the William Cotts, Mitchell Cotts Group. History Engineering businesses: Onions (formed by John Onions in 1650) and William Allday & Co. Alldays (supermarket)
Alldays was a chain of convenience stores in the UK, with a high density of stores in the south-east of England and in Scotland during the 1990s. Early history It was founded by Watson & Philip, a Dundee-based convenience store and food distribution company, when they decided to move away from their previous contracts with the Spar and VG chains and instead focus on developing their own chain of stores. In February 1993, they bought the Circle K chain of around 200 stores from its American owners for £21m. In September 1995 under the leadership of the chief executive David Bremner, they launched the Alldays' brand and rebranded all the existing stores with ambitious plans to launch a further 100 new stores during 1996. Although they achieved this goal, in October 1996 the company had to post a profit warning, which was linked to the expansion of its foodservice division. Alldays, Limpopo
Alldays is a small town in the Limpopo province of South Africa that serves a large area of private game and hunting farms. It has a population of 2,987. The Venetia Diamond Mine is situated close to Alldays, located within the 360 square kilometre Venetia Limpopo Nature Reserve. It is one of De Beers’ six remaining diamond mines in South Africa and the only major diamond mine to be developed in the country during the past 25 years. Citrus farming on the banks of the Limpopo River is an important economic activity in the district. The area of is known for its arid bushveld and Mopane bush. Several large game farms are located around Alldays, many of which are known as trophy hunting destinations. The hunting practices carried out at an Alldays game farm sparked significant public outcry in September 2015; however, the Limpopo environmental department found the farm to be compliant with South African hunting legislation.
