"All Out of Love" is a song by British/Australian soft rock duo Air Supply, released as a single in 1980 from their fifth studio album '' Lost in Love''. The song was written by Graham Russell and Clive Davis. The song's lyrics describe the emotional state of a man desperately trying to win back the love of his life after the couple's separation caused by a wrong done by the man against the woman he's in love with. Frank Esler-Smith
Frank Esler-Smith (5 June 1948 in London, England – 1 March 1991 in Melbourne, Australia) was an English arranger and keyboard player for Doug Parkinson's Southern Star from 1978 to 1980 before joining the soft rock band Air Supply in their 1980s heyday. Initially, his pursuits lay elsewhere, as he attended Melbourne University to study architecture. However, his early passion had been classical music, and he would later gain extensive experience as an orchestral conductor in settings as variegated as musical theatre and rock recordings. He first met principal Air Supply members Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell while he was working with the orchestra in a production of ''Jesus Christ Superstar'' that included Hitchcock and Russell as cast members. He collaborated with many other musicians and songwriters throughout his career. He died of pneumonia in 1991, at the age of 42. Marcella Levy (born June 21, 1952), known professionally as Marcy Levy and (later in her career) Marcella Detroit, is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She co-wrote the 1977 Eric Clapton hit " Lay Down Sally" and released her debut studio album '' Marcella'' in 1982. She joined Shakespears Sister in 1988 with ex-Bananarama member Siobhan Fahey. Their first two studio albums, ''Sacred Heart'' (1989), and '' Hormonally Yours'' (1992), both reached the top 10 of the UK Albums Chart. Federico "Freddy" Curci is a Canadian singer and songwriter. He was lead vocalist for the rock band Sheriff, and is the founder, frontman, and lead singer for the band Alias.
