Winning All Four Cups referred to winning all four competitions available to a United Kingdom, British rugby league side in the top division between 1907 and 1970. The cups available to win were the Rugby Football League Championship First Division, First Division Championship, Challenge Cup, Rugby league county leagues, county league (Lancashire League or Yorkshire League) and Rugby league county cups, county cup (Lancashire Cup or Yorkshire Cup). Hunslet () is an inner-city area in south Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is southeast of the Leeds city centre, city centre and has an industrial past. Super League
Super League (also known as the Betfred Super League for sponsorship reasons, and legally Super League Europe Ltd.) is a professional rugby league competition, and the highest level of the British rugby league system, which consists of twelve teams, eleven from Northern England, the sport's heartland, and one from southern France. Super League began in 1996, replacing the Rugby Football League Championship First Division, First Division, and switching from a winter to a summer season. Hector Halsall
Hector Halsall (20 August 1900 – October 1966) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s, and coached in the 1930 and 1940s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Swinton (captain), as a , and coached at club level for Barrow. Background Halsall was born in Wigan, Lancashire, England, after retiring from playing, he worked as a trainer at Barrow for 18 years, he died aged 66 in Wigan Infirmary, Wigan. Playing career Swinton Halsall made his début for Swinton on 6 November 1920. The 1927–28 Rugby Football League season was the 33rd season of rugby league football. Swinton won All four cups. Season summary Swinton won their second, and successive, Championship when they defeated Featherstone Rovers 11-0 in the play-off final. Swinton had also ended the regular season as the league leaders. The Challenge Cup Winners were Swinton who beat Warrington 5-3 in the final. Pontypridd resigned from the League after playing 8 games, and their record was expunged from the table. They won 1 and lost 7, scoring 46 and conceding 149. 1927-28. The Swinton Lions are a professional rugby league club based in Swinton, Greater Manchester, England, which competes in the RFL League 1 .
