Alja Kozorog
Alja Kozorog (born 17 December 1996) is a Slovenian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2012. She is from Idrija pri Bači and trains with KK Soške Elektrarne. Alja is coached by 1992 Olympian Borut Javornik. Kozorog won a bronze medal in the C1 team event at the 2023 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in London. She also won two silver medals in the same event at the European Championships. She won a silver medal in C1 team event at the 2017 U23 European Championships in Hohenlimburg. Alja earned her best senior world championship result of 19th in the C1 event at the 2019 championships in La Seu d'Urgell, which secured Slovenia an Olympic quota. She finished in a career-best 4th place at the 2019 World Cup on her home course in Tacen. Kozorog finished in 12th place at the 2021 European Championships in Ivrea, ensuring her position at the delayed Games. Career

Alya's connections to music goes far in her childhood. She started singing quite early and as a little girl she also played piano. Later on, she invited four boys to found her own quality band. One of her first performances was the radio Hit festival in 2001 with the song "Mr. Pozelenja" which brought her 2nd place. After that she made a boom on different radio music charts, especially with her next song "Igra" which had a premiere in the Slovenian Supermodel show 2002. All of the time she had lot of concerts in clubs and events. She also participated in the Slovenian Eurosong Contests (EMA) and hit the top of Slovenian charts.

Alja Robinson Crook
Alja Robinson Crook (June 17, 1864 – May 31, 1930) was an American scientist and academic from Ohio. Crook attended Ohio Wesleyan University and received a Dr. phil. in Munich, Germany in 1892. He was a professor of mineralogy and economic geology at Northwestern University from 1893 to 1906, when he was named Illinois State Geologist. As state geologist, he greatly expanded the state museum. Biography Alja Robinson Crook was born in Circleville, Ohio, on June 17, 1864. His father Isaac was a Methodist minister. Crook attended Ohio Wesleyan University, graduating in 1887. He studied abroad in the following years, attaining a Dr. Phil. at University of Munich, in 1892. He returned to Illinois and taught at Wheaton College for a year. Crook then accepted a position at Northwestern University as a professor of mineralogy and economic geology.
