Alfredo Ramos Dos Santos
Alfredo dos Santos (January 1, 1920 – October 23, 1997), best known as Alfredo II, was a Brazilian footballer in midfielder role. He was born in Rio de Janeiro. During his career (1937–1956), he played for Vasco da Gama, except one year with Flamengo (1949). As another Alfredo played in Vasco, he earned the nickname "Alfredo Segundo" ("Alfredo the Second", transcribed as Alfredo II). He won five Carioca Tournaments (1945, 1947, 1949, 1950 and 1952) and the South American Club Championship in 1948. For the Brazilian team he played at the 1950 FIFA World Cup, starting one match against Switzerland (2–2) on June 28, 1950, when he scored a goal in the third minute. Campeonato Sul-Americano De Campeões
The South American Championship of Champions (, ) was a football competition played in Santiago, Chile in 1948 and the first continental-wide clubs football tournament in South America. Hosted and organized by Chilean club Colo Colo with the aid of then president of CONMEBOL Luis Valenzuela, it was played between February 11 and March 17. Brazil's Vasco da Gama won the competition after earning the most points in the round-robin tournament. Alfredo Ramos Castilho (27 October 1924 in Jacareí – 31 July 2012), was a Brazilian footballer in the defense role. He was simply known as ''Alfredo'' or ''Polvo'' by fans. In his career as player for Santos (1947–1951), São Paulo (1951–1958 and 1961) and Corinthians (1958–1960), he played 633 games, scoring 3 goals, and won one São Paulo State Championship in 1953.
