Alexandru Custov
Alexandru Custov (8 May 1954 – 20 March 2008) was a Romanian footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Alexandru Custov was born on 8 May 1954 in Fundeni where he started playing football at junior level in 1968 at local club, Gloria. In 1969 he went to play for Dinamo București, making his Divizia A debut on 4 May 1972 in a 0–0 with Farul Constanța. In the 1974–75 season, Custov won his first title with the club, contributing under the guidance of coach Nicolae Dumitru with 31 appearances and two goals scored, repeating the performance in the 1976–77 season with coach Ion Nunweiller, this time playing 33 matches and scoring two goals. CS Minaur Baia Mare, commonly known as Minaur Baia Mare, simply as Baia Mare or unofficially as ''Minerul Baia Mare'', is a Romanian football club, based in Baia Mare, Maramureș County, northern Romania, founded in 1948. It currently plays in Romania's second league, Liga II, after promoting at the end of the 2021–22 season. Mircea Lucescu
Mircea Lucescu (; born 29 July 1945) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player, who is currently head coach of Ukrainian Premier League club Dynamo Kyiv. He is one of the most decorated managers of all time. Lucescu is also one of the most successful players of the Romanian league championship, having won all of his seven titles with Dinamo București. Apart from the latter club, he had spells at Știința București and Corvinul Hunedoara, and made 70 appearances for the Romania national team, which he captained in the 1970 FIFA World Cup. Lucescu has coached various sides in Romania, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine and Russia. He is well known for his twelve-year stint in charge of Shakhtar Donetsk, where he became the most successful coach in the team's history by winning eight Ukrainian Premier League titles, six Ukrainian Cups, seven Ukrainian Super Cups and the 2008–09 UEFA Cup. ASA Târgu Mureș (1962)
ASA Târgu Mureș is a football club based in Târgu Mureș, Mureș County, Romania. It was founded in 1962, then in August 1964 merged with Mureşul Târgu Mureş, the descendant of Voinţa Târgu Mureș. Financially supported by Ministry of National Defence, ASA was considered a privileged club of the communist regime and an unofficially satellite of Steaua București. The ascension was fast and in short time, ASA became one of the most important teams in the country. After the Romanian Revolution "the militaries" started their decline and in 2005 the club went bankrupt. Between 2008 and 2018, the local authorities rebranded Transil Târgu Mureș in FCM Târgu Mureș, then ASA 2013 Târgu Mureș, but the new entity did not have the record of the old club. The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, commonly known as San Siro, is a football stadium in the San Siro district of Milan, Italy, which is the home of A.C. Milan and Inter Milan. FC Steaua București
FC Steaua București was a Romanian professional football club of which two current entities are claiming the records. The original ''FC Steaua București'' team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders ( Gigi Becali) acquiring full ownership five years later. However, CSA Steaua București sued the football club in 2011, claiming that this was a new entity; the two have since been in a legal conflict regarding the ownership of the Steaua brand and honours, which resulted in multiple court cases and the forced change of the name of ''FC Steaua București'' to FCSB in early 2017.
