Alex Koolman
Alexander C. Koolman (1907–1998) was an English portrait and figure painter who worked predominantly in oil and pastels. Member of the Society of Industrial Artists. Elected to the Royal Society of British Artists in 1948 and to the Royal Society of Portrait Painters in 1970. Painting
Painting is the practice of applying paint, pigment, color or other medium to a solid surface (called the "matrix" or "support"). Kirklees
Kirklees is a local government district of West Yorkshire, England, governed by Kirklees Council with the status of a metropolitan borough. The largest town and administrative centre of Kirklees is Huddersfield, and the district also includes Batley, Birstall, Cleckheaton, Denby Dale, Dewsbury, Heckmondwike, Holmfirth, Kirkburton, Marsden, Meltham, Mirfield and Slaithwaite.
