Abdul Aleem Khan (born 5 March 1970) is a Pakistani politician and businessman from Lahore. Abdul Aleem Khan currently serves as a member of the National Assembly after being elected from Constituency NA 117, Shahdara Lahore in the general elections held on 8 February 2024. Abdul Aleem Khan owns Samaa TV and Vision Group. He was also the Senior Minister of Punjab and Minister of Food from 2020 to 2021. He also served as a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from August 2018 to 2021. He announced his separation from politics on Twitter in a tweet. Later in a statement to the media, he said that he had no intentions of joining politics again and that he would focus on the welfare through the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation. In June 2023 he launched the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party along with Jahangir Khan Tareen. He is a founding member and the incumbent president of the party. Aleem Khan (born 19 May 1985) is a British film director and screenwriter. He is known for the film ''After Love'' (2020), which garnered accolades from international film festivals, including six British Independent Film Awards and one BAFTA. Early life and education Khan was born on 19 May 1985 in Chatham, Kent, to an English mother and a Pakistani father. His parents met as teenagers on the London housing estate where they both lived, and Khan was born after they married and moved to the Kent coast. He became interested in filmmaking through observing his father's passion for documenting the family on his VHS camcorder. Aleem Khan (born 1956) is an Indian social activist fighting to eradicate Dowry from the Indian subcontinent hailing from Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangana. He is also known for his Urdu poetry which he frequently recites at Mushairas. He is the founder of Socio-Reform-Society and the author of numerous books on dowry written in Urdu and English. Early life Mohammed Aleemullah Khan alias Aleem Khan Falaki was born in Hyderabad, India in 1956 to Mohammad Khaleelullah Khan who was also a scholar and often cites him as his inspiration.
