Albert Trapeež
Leonhard Lapin (29 December 1947 – 28 February 2022), also known under the pseudonym Albert Trapeež, was an Estonian architect, artist, architecture historian, and poet. Biography Emeritus Professor at Estonian Academy of Arts, Lapin was a forerunner of the avant-garde movement in Estonia, and influenced Estonian art and architecture through his works and writings during the postwar 20th century. Lapin was active in functionalism, suprematism, technological futurism and pop art. As an artist, he created graphics, paintings, performances, happenings and published several articles, books and poetry collections. Lapin influenced many students as a teacher; he regarded architecture and art mainly as a spiritual activity. He died on 28 February 2022, at the age of 74.After his death, he was cremated and scattered over the river in Pirita. Ignar Fjuk (born 12 March 1953, Tartu) is an Estonian architect, politician and radio journalist, most notable for being one of the voters for the Estonian restoration of Independence. He graduated from Hugo Treffner Gymnasium in 1971, and from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 1976 as an architect. For years, Klassikaraadio has been broadcasting his ''Räägivad'' talk show. In 1987, the Culture Council of the Estonian SSR's Artistic Associations was created on his initiative. Fjuk was a member of the Estonian Centre Party. He is currently in the Estonian Reform Party. Jüri Okas
Jüri Okas (born 26 August 1950 in Tallinn) is a notable Estonian architect, installation artist and printmaker. From 1957 to 1968 Jüri Okas studied in the 46th Secondary School of Tallinn (today's Pelgulinna Gymnasium of Tallinn). From 1968 to 1970 he studied in the Tallinn Polytechnic Institute (today's Tallinn Technical University). From 1970 Jüri Okas studied in the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR (today's Estonian Academy of Arts) in the department of architecture. He graduated from the institute in 1974. Ain Padrik
Ain Padrik (born 27 April 1947) is an Estonian architect. Padrik graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts as an architect in 1971. He belonged to the group of young architects and artists called the Tallinn School, which was grouped from Tiit Kaljundi, Vilen Künnapu, Leonhard Lapin, Avo-Himm Looveer and Ülevi Eljand. During the Soviet period he worked at EKE Projekt. In 1991 Padrik and Vilen Künnapu formed the company Künnapu & Padrik. Padrik has been a teacher at Tallinn University of Technology.
