Alan Webster (rower)
Alan John Webster (born 18 August 1941) is a former New Zealand rowing (sport), rower. Webster was born in Te Puke in 1941. At the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games he won the silver medal as part of the men's eight alongside crew members Leslie Arthur, Darien Boswell, Colin Cordes, Alistair Dryden, Alan Grey, Christian Larsen (rower), Christian Larsen, Louis Lobel and Robert Page (rower), Robert Page. Webster competed at two Olympic Games, first in New Zealand at the 1964 Summer Olympics, 1964 where he was part of the Rowing at the 1964 Summer Olympics – Men's eight, men's eight that made the quarter-finals. Then in New Zealand at the 1968 Summer Olympics, 1968 where he was again part of the Rowing at the 1968 Summer Olympics – Men's eight, men's eight that came fourth in the final. Alan Robert Webster
Alan Robert Webster (born 1965 in Hatfield, Hertfordshire) is a high-profile English prisoner who pleaded guilty to several counts of rape against a 12-week-old baby girl, and making indecent images in January 2006. The girl was being babysat by his girlfriend Tanya Louise French (born 1986 in Wolverhampton), who also pleaded guilty to charges related to the attack. Webster also pleaded guilty to the rape of a 14-year-old girl and possession of child pornography. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of six years. This was increased to eight years by the Court of Appeal on 8 June 2006. Lord Chief Justice, Lord Phillips stated in his ruling that he questioned if the Parole Board should ever consider Webster's release considering the "depravity" of the crime. Alan Webster (priest)
Alan Brunskill Webster (1 July 1918 – 3 September 2007) was a British Anglican priest. He had a varied career, serving in parish roles, heading a theological college, and leading two cathedrals as their Dean (Christianity)#Cathedrals, dean. As Dean of Norwich from 1970 to 1978, he modernised the cathedral and its services, and opened up its buildings to the public. He ended his ministry as Dean of St Paul's, between 1978 and 1987, during which the cathedral saw the Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, Wedding of Charles and Diana, and the so-called 'Victory Service' following the Falklands War. Allan Ross Webster (24 March 1903 – 3 January 1988) was a Canadian businessman and politician. Webster was a Progressive Conservative party member of the House of Commons of Canada.
