A medium-capacity system (MCS), also known as light rapid transit or light metro, is a rail transport system with a capacity greater than light rail, but less than typical heavy-rail rapid transit. MCS trains are usually 1 to 4 cars. Most medium-capacity rail systems are automated or use light-rail type vehicles. Since ridership determines the scale of a rapid transit system, statistical modeling allows planners to size the rail system for the needs of the area. Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd is the operator of the rapid transit (metro) system serving Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley area in Malaysia. Kelana Jaya Line
The LRT Kelana Jaya Line is a medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) line and the first fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. It forms part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System in and around Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Putra Heights LRT station is a Klang Valley Rapid Transit station at Putra Heights in southern Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is the southern terminus for the LRT Sri Petaling Line and LRT Kelana Jaya Line.
