Alain Orsoni
Alain Orsoni (; born 27 September 1954) is a Corsican politician and former FLNC militant and former president of AC Ajaccio. Founder of the FLNC-Canal Habituel (Corsican: Canale Abituale, FLNC-CA) and its political wing, the Movement for Self-Determination (Muvimentu per l’Autodeterminazione, MPA), Orsoni led the organization until its dissolution in 1997. Orsoni is called the “man of seven lives” or the “Corsican godfather” in some circles due to his criminal convictions and his tendency to create new lifestyles in new countries to flee persecution. Orsoni was born in the town of Vero, near the city of Ajaccio. His father, a war hero from the second world war, left when Orsoni was young to fight in Algeria, where he later joined the OAS. Gang De La Brise De Mer
The gang de la Brise de Mer was one of the most powerful Corsican criminal organizations. Based in Northern Corsica, the gang controls various activities (racketeering, slots machines traffic, laundering, night clubs, gambling clubs, casinos, etc.) in Corsica, but also in the South of France, in Paris, in Italy, in Occidental African countries (Gabon, Mali, Cameroon, etc.), and in Latin American countries. FLNC-Canal Historique
The FLNC-Canal Historique (; abbreviated FLNC-CS) was an armed paramilitary and guerrilla organization created in 1990 from a split within the command structure of the original FLNC. The organization was created to be a radically militant force, rejecting the idea of ceasefire with the French government.
