Ai No Tameni.
is the seventh single by Japanese recording artist Aya Ueto. It was released on February 4, 2004 as the fourth and final single from Ueto's second studio album ''Message''. The single was released in two formats: limited and standard editions, both issued with different covers. Overview "Ai no Tame ni." was written, composed and produced by Tetsurō Oda, marking their first collaboration. The song served as theme song for the TV Asahi drama '' Ace o Nerae!'', starring Ueto herself. Unlike her previous singles, which were all based on a darker, edgier concept, "Ai no Tame ni." is Ueto' first light-hearted, cheerful single. Aya Ueto
is a Japanese actress, singer and television personality. In 1997, Ueto participated in the seventh Japan Bishōjo Contest, where she won the special jury prize. Soon thereafter, Ueto joined the talent agency Oscar Promotion and began taking singing, dancing and acting lessons. In 1999, she formed the girl group Z-1 with three fellow Japan Bishōjo Contest participants. The group disbanded in 2002 and later that year, Ueto signed with Pony Canyon and released " Pureness", her debut single as a lead artist. Background ''Message'' includes Ueto's previous singles "Message/Personal", " Kanshō/Mermaid", " Binetsu" and " Ai no Tame ni.". The album's initial track listing included a fourteenth track entitled "Shiawase ni Naru Yō ni" (幸せになるように ''Wish You Happiness'') but it was eventually scrapped and never released.
