Ai was a Swedish pop group mainly known for participating in Melodifestivalen 1999 with the song ”Bilder av dig”. The group's name came from the Japanese word Ai, which means love. The group consisted of Malin Holmgren, Helena Hellqvist, Josefine Sundström Carola Josefine Sundström Lindberg (born 6 September 1976) is a Swedish television host, author and singer. Melodifestivalen 1999
Sweden was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with the song " Take Me to Your Heaven", composed by Lars Diedricson, with lyrics by Gert Lengstrand and Marcos Ubeda, and performed by Charlotte Nilsson. The Swedish participating broadcaster, (SVT), selected its entry through 1999. The entry eventually won the Eurovision Song Contest, becoming the fourth ever victory for Sweden in the contest. Before Eurovision 1999 1999 was the selection for the 39th song to represent at the Eurovision Song Contest. It was the 38th time that this system of picking a song had been used. 1,315 songs were submitted to (SVT) for the competition, with ten songs selected to compete. The final was held in the Victoriahallen in Stockholm on 27 February 1999, presented by Anders Lundin and Vendela Kirsebom Thommesen, and was broadcast on SVT2 and Sveriges Radio's P4 network. Josefine Sundström
Carola Josefine Sundström Lindberg (born 6 September 1976) is a Swedish television host, author and singer. Sundström was born in Upplands Väsby. She participated in '' Melodifestivalen 1999'' with the girl group Ai with the song " Bilder av dig". The same year she started working for SVT and hosted the musicvideo show ''Voxpop'' for several years and she also hosted '' Melodifestivalen 2001''. She also hosted '' Lilla Melodifestivalen 2002'' on SVT. Sundström was the Swedish commentator during the '' Eurovision Song Contest 2013'' broadcast on SVT. Sundström was the Swedish spokesperson at '' Eurovision Song Contest 2001'' and announced the countries voting result. Sundström is also an author having released two books, ''Vinteräpplen'' in 2010 and ''Boel och Oscar'' in 2012. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, based on sales data from IFPI Sverige. It was formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and has been known by its current name since October 2007. Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
