Kenne Fant
Carl-Henrik "Kenne" Fant (1 January 1923 – 29 May 2016) was a Swedish actor, director, and writer. Early life Kenne Fant was born in Strängnäs to Captain Tore Fant and Stina Fant (née Gustafsson). He was the younger brother of actor, director, and writer George Fant and first cousin of speech scientist Gunnar Fant. Career Fant studied at Dramatens elevskola from 1945 to 1949, and was at the Royal Dramatic Theatre from 1949 - 1950. He was hired as director of the Nordisk Tonefilm 1952 -1962, and became production manager of Swedish Film Industry (SF) in 1962. He was appointed CEO of SF from 1963. In 1980 he resigned to become a freelance writer. His 1962 film '' Adventures of Nils Holgersson'' was entered into the 3rd Moscow International Film Festival. Christina Schollin (born Christina Alma Elisabet Schollin; 26 December 1937) is a Swedish actress. ''The Wonderful Adventures of Nils'' ( sv, Nils Holgerssons underbara resa genom Sverige, literally ''Nils Holgersson's wonderful journey across Sweden'') is a work of fiction by the Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf, the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize in literature. It was originally published in two books, 1906 and 1907, and was first published in English as ''The Wonderful Adventures of Nils'' (1907) and ''The Further Adventures of Nils'' (1911). The two parts are later usually published together, in English as ''The Wonderful Adventures of Nils'', but that name may also refer to the first part alone. Like many leading Swedish intellectuals of her time, Selma Lagerlöf was an advocate of Swedish spelling reform. Naima Wifstrand (; 4 September 1890 – 23 October 1968) was a Swedish film actress, operetta singer, troubadour, director and composer. In her later years, she was cast in several supporting roles in Ingmar Bergman films. Biography Born Siri Naima Matilda Wifstrand in Stockholm in 1890, she was raised by her mother in Fleminggatan. Wifstrand never trained acting but learned the art thoroughly when she in 1905 joined the Anna Lundberg Theatre Company, a well reputed and respected theatre company in Sweden at the time. She travelled with them for a number of years, appearing in small parts and in extra parts. This eventually led her to small parts at theatres in Helsinki and around Stockholm. But at this time Wifstrand did not have her mind set on acting, instead she sought to be a singer.
