Mukhram Sharma (29 May 1909 – 25 April 2000) was an Indian film lyricist, script, and story writer. He is best known for winning the first Filmfare Award in the Best Story category in 1955 for the film '' Aulad''. His notable works as story writer include '' Vachan'' (1955), '' Sadhna'' (1958), ''Talaq'' (1958) and '' Dhool Ka Phool'' (1959). He also produced films like ''Talaq'' (1958), ''Santaan'', and '' Diwana'' (1967). Early life Sharma was born in Poothi village of Uttar Pradesh, India on 29 May 1909. Geeta Dutt (born Geeta Ghosh Roy Chowdhuri; 23 November 1930 – 20 July 1972) was an Indian playback singer and a famous Hindi and Bengali classical artist, born in Faridpur before the Partition of India. Meena Kapoor
Meena Kapoor (1930 in Kolkata (then Calcutta) – 23 November 2017) was an Indian playback singer. She was the daughter of actor Bikram Kapoor who worked with the New Theatres studio. Her family was also related to famed filmmaker PC Barua. Meena's singing was noticed at a young age by composers like Ninu Mazumdar and SD Burman. Raja Mehdi Ali Khan (23 September 1915 – 29 July 1966) was an Indian poet, writer and a lyricist. Early life and career Raja Mehdi Ali Khan was born on 23 September 1915 at Karamabad village, near Wazirabad, Gujranwala District of Punjab, British India. Mehdi Ali lost his father when he was four. His mother Hubia Khanum who was the sister of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan, got him educated and he completed his basic education at Islamia College (Lahore).
